Nina qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and joined the Employment Department at Magrath Sheldrick LLP in April 2017.
Nina has experience defending Employment Tribunal claims involving discrimination and unfair dismissal. She also provides advice to employers on day-to-day employment matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, redundancy, absence management, and returns from maternity leave.
In addition to contentious work, Nina undertakes non-contentious matters such as advising on and drafting employment contracts, settlement agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies. She also offers guidance on the enforceability of post-termination restrictions in employment contracts.
Nina has represented employees in claims related to unfair dismissal, race, disability, age, and sex discrimination, as well as whistleblowing cases. She frequently advise employees and directors on settlement agreements and the negotiation of exit packages.
Nina speaks conversational Arabic and has provided assistance to Arabic-speaking clients in handling their cases.
