I qualified as a solicitor in 2015 joined the Employment Department at Magrath Sheldrick LLP in April 2017.
I have experience of defending Employment Tribunal claims relating to discrimination and unfair dismissal. I also advise employers in respect of day to day matters such as disciplinary processes, grievances and redundancy, as well as matters relating to managing absence and returns from maternity leave.
I undertake non-contentious work including advising on and drafting contracts, settlement agreements, handbook and policies for employers. I advise on the enforceability of post-termination restrictions in employment contracts.
I have experience of representing employees in unfair dismissal, race, disability, age and sex discrimination claims, as well as with whistleblowing cases. I frequently advise employees and directors on settlement agreements and negotiating exit packages.
I speak conversational Arabic and have assisted Arabic speaking clients with their cases.
