Spotlight on Saudi Arabia

In our spotlight series, we look at the recent updates on Saudi Arabia’s Visit Visa Entry and Exit Restrictions for select Nationals.

Saudi Arabia has announced a temporary suspension of short-term visas for 14 countries in effort to control and regulate the flow of travel traffic ahead of the upcoming Hajj Season.

This includes business visit visa, e-tourist visa and family visit visas. The suspension period will begin from April 13, 2025. No official end date to the entry restriction has been announced but it is understood that last until the end of June 2025, when the Hajj season is expected to end.

The suspension applies to nationals of Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen. Travellers from these countries who currently hold valid visas may still enter the kingdom until April 13 but must exit before April 29, 2025.
