Spotlight on APAC: Philippines

In our spotlight on APAC series, we round up the latest developments across the region. In this post, we dive into the 2025 Annual Report season for registered foreign nationals and ACR I-Card holders in the Philippines.

Annual Report registration for foreign nationals starting January 2025

The Bureau of Immigrations (BI) has kickstarted the process where foreigners are to physically report to the main BI office within the first 60 days of the year to complete and obtain the Annual Report. This will be the final step after completing the online registration, online interview, and making payment of the Annual Report fees.

Documentation required for the appointment in BI office:

  1. Reference number of online registration

  2. Original valid ACR-I card or physical ACR certificate

  3. Original valid passport

  4. Payment proof

Foreigners that are leaving the country are to ensure to get their annual report registration completed prior to obtaining the Emigration Clearance Certificate -B.

Failure to make the report may result to fines or further prosecution charges leading to imprisonment, at discretion of Commissioner of Immigration.
