Kuwait – Important Update on Exit Procedures

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has introduced a new Multiple‑Trip Exit Permit service, allowing a single permit to cover multiple exits and re‑entry trips within a specified period.

This replaces the previous system, where a separate exit permit was required for each trip, and is part of Kuwait’s broader digital transformation of government services.

Key highlights of the new exit permit system:

• The permit can be used for multiple trips abroad within the approved timeframe.
• The process is fully digital and linked electronically with the Ministry of Interior.
• Employers and employees can print the approved permit at any time after approval.

This new system simplifies travel procedures, reduces paperwork, and saves time for both employers and employees.
