BritishAmerican Business is curating an expert panel to speak on the subject of UK immigration and future mobility of talent.

 

The panel includes:

Jonathan Portes, Professor of Economics and Public Policy, King’s College London whose appearance at this event coincides with the publication of his new book on immigration at the end of June, What Do We Know and What Should We Do About Immigration?

Ben Sheldrick, Managing Partner of Magrath Sheldrick LLP, who are sponsoring this event. Ben specialises in UK immigration and he will talk about developments in UK immigration, and whether current proposals for post-Brexit immigration reform will be sufficient to meet the requirements of business and the economy.

Claire Razzolini, Partner (US Immigration)  Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty LLP, New York. Claire will provide a US perspective and discuss developments in US immigration policy and practice under the Trump administration.

McKinsey & Company will share their research into the impact of Brexit on Migration/Mobility.

The event will be moderated by Ben Costas from Thompson Reuters and hosted by Barclays.
