Victoria advises a range of multi-national corporates and SMEs within the tech, private equity, fund management, logistics, professional services, music, retail, hospitality, and healthcare sectors, as well as entrepreneurs, investors and private clients on all aspects of business and family immigration categories. This includes the Points Based System, family member and spouse applications, visitors, EEA nationals (including the recently introduced EU Settlement Scheme), Ancestry and Settlement applications, Indefinite Leave to Remain (including under the Long Residence Rules), British Citizenship (Naturalisation and Registration) and first British passport applications .
With over six years’ experience guiding corporate clients through the complexities of Tier 2 sponsorship, including preparing Sponsor Licence applications and renewals, proactively managing Sponsor Licences, acting as Level 1 User to clients’ SMS, reporting on migrant changes, and advising on the implications of mergers, acquisitions and restructuring on a Sponsor Licence, including joint ventures, TUPE transfers of sponsored migrants, and Home Office compliance audits, including conducting mock audits.
Having joined Magrath in 2012, Victoria completed her training with the firm in January 2019 having completed immigration, employment and litigation seats.
Victoria graduated with a First Class Honours Law Degree from the University of London in 2015 and achieved a distinction in her LPC with MSc in Law and Business at the University of Law (Bloomsbury) in 2017.
