Josie Laidman

I currently work on private client matters and corporate immigration, with a particular focus on applications made under the Points Based System. I also regularly advise on EEA category applications, family permits, routes to settlement, and temporary residence applications. I have assisted in the management of Sponsor Licences and change of circumstances, and advised on sponsor compliance requirements. I regularly take on complex immigration cases within the immigration rules. My previous experience also includes work in the tribunals, on asylum cases and applications made outside of the rules.

I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a bachelor’s degree in Classics and Philosophy, and LLM in Public International Law. I am the deputy editor, and a regular contributor to the online immigration platform, Free Movement. I am currently undertaking the SQE route to qualification as a solicitor
