Demet is a Solicitor within the Immigration Department, assisting both corporate and private clients.

Having worked in business immigration, private immigration, and global mobility for over 7 years, she had exposure to all aspects of immigration law, particularly the Points-Based System and family visas. Demet also supports clients and employees with matters related to sponsor compliance and duties, as well as various applications, including complex passport applications, Naturalisation, and Indefinite Leave to Remain.

Before pursuing a legal career, Demet graduated from Galatasaray University in Istanbul with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and from King’s College London with a Master’s degree in Political Economy. She later completed the Graduate Diploma in Law, followed by the Legal Practice Course/LLM. Demet is fluent in English, Turkish, and French.
