Adele is a Partner and head of Magrath Sheldrick’s Employment Department. Her practice covers all aspects of contentious and non-contentious Employment Law. She has a client base ranging from multinational PLC’s to private individuals and is sought out for her no nonsense, direct advice and clear careful drafting.
Adele advises on all aspects of the employment relationship from contract negotiations to termination and beyond, including complex restructuring, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE, employee data, multi party and vexatious grievances, employee investigation and disciplinary matters. Adele regularly advises on the drafting, negotiation and enforcement of confidentiality obligations, restrictive covenants, garden leave, contract terminations and settlement agreements and has extensive experience of Employment Tribunals and High Court Litigation.
Adele provides strategic HR support to numerous organisations, acting as a strategic advisor and sounding board, as well as providing clinics, training courses and workshops to encourage compliance and minimise risk.
In addition to her employment practice Adele advises corporate clients on their data protection obligations and employee data rights, particularly in relation to dealing with subject access requests, internal data security and cross boarder data transfers.

- Adele represented S&GR Valuations in the case of S&GR Valuations v Bordais and others, a case involving a team move including issues relating to the removal of confidential information. The case testing the law in relation to the right to work and significantly extending the ambit of garden leave.
