Area of expertise/speciality:
Broad experience of advising on acquisitions and disposals of companies and businesses, joint ventures, investments and shareholders agreements, fund raisings (both on public markets and private). Also advises on corporate governance and company secretarial matters and on a wide range of commercial agreements, particularly sports sponsorship, distribution, agency and licence agreements and standard terms of business.
In addition to working in private practice, David has also spent time working in industry and has served as a non-executive Director, Legal Counsel and Company Secretary for two AIM-listed companies.
David is a member of the Advisory Board of Bangor University Business School (ranked 1st in the UK university sector for Business, Accounting and Finance) and is the legal advisor to Swansea City FC Supporters Trust. David recently advised Swansea City FC on its new 2 year football shirt sponsorship deal with 32Red plc.
