Nina qualified as a solicitor in 2015 joined the Employment Department as a Solicitor in April 2017.
Nina acts for both employers and employees in a broad variety of employment matters. She has experience of defending claims relating to discrimination and unfair dismissal. Nina also advises employers in respect of day to day matters such as disciplinary processes, grievances and redundancy, as well as matters relating to managing absence and returns from maternity leave.
Nina also undertakes non-contentious work including advising on and drafting contracts, settlement agreements, handbook and policies for employers. She advises on the enforceability of post-termination restrictions in employment contracts.
Nina also has experience of representing employees in unfair dismissal, race, disability, age and sex discrimination claims, as well as with whistleblowing cases. Nina frequently advises employees on settlement agreements and negotiating exit packages.
Nina speaks conversational Arabic and has assisted Arabic speaking clients with their cases.
