Abigail advises companies (both public and private), partnerships and individuals on their business affairs.
She has expertise in a range of company matters including business start ups, acquisitions and disposals of companies, shareholder and partnership agreements, fund raising, shareholder disputes and corporate governance.
With extensive experience of working with companies and senior management, Abigail takes a commercial and pragmatic approach to her work ensuring a solid understanding of her client’s business so as to meet their legal requirements whilst appreciating their businesses ethos and the industry the business operates in.
Abigail has broad experience in preparing, negotiating and advising business on a full range of commercial contracts including standard terms and conditions, agency, distribution and sponsorship agreements.

Recent Notable Experience
- Abigail has recently assisted clients in the Leisure, Betting, Retail, Fashion, Education and I.T industries. Such matters have included drafting shareholder agreements, investor agreements, terms and conditions, advising on company disposals, liquidations and company secretarial affairs.
- Sale of a London based physiotherapy business.
- Advice on establishment of new high end fashion business.
- Admission of a company to the PLUS Market.
- Assistance with the incorporation of a new joint venture business and all associated documentation for projects related to the 2012 Olympics.
- A number of commercial agreements relating to project work in the IT industry, private fund raising in the travel industry, terms of business for recruitment businesses and consultancy agreements in the fashion industry.
Other Interests:
Abigail took two gap years before finishing her academic legal training and commencing her training contract. During that time she travelled extensively and also worked in the legal departments for Accent Group and the Department for Culture Media and Sport.
Abigail continues to enjoy travelling with highlights being touring Thailand on high speed tuc tucs, sampling local Thai cuisine from a tree house and exploring the Angkor Temple complex in Cambodia by bike. Having recently added skiing to her list of interests she can be found in and around the French Alps or the mountains of Colorado over the winter.
Abigail is a keen (although a not very fast!) runner, having run the London Marathon in the past (raising £23,500 for the charity Children with Leukaemia) and competing in various 5 and 10km races in and around London.
Abigail is a mentor for the College of Law providing guidance and support for students undertaking the PGDL and LPC.
