Julie has extensive experience in the UK immigration arena, advising upon all aspects of corporate and private client matters. Her client base includes major global investment banks, insurance companies and hedge funds as well as individuals applying for a stay in a personal capacity.
Her key areas of expertise include Points Based applications, European Law cases, Indefinite Leave and marriage applications as well as British Registration and nationality issues.

Recent Notable Experience:
- Securing the Firm’s participation in the UKBA premium service pilot in Sheffield
- Acting as main point of contact and liaison with the Public Enquiry Offices, UKBA, in Croydon and Sheffield regarding fast track and biometric appointments
- Obtaining the ultimate grant of British citizenship for an individual whom Julie advised throughout the period from original entry as a student, unmarried partner and settlement.
- Successfully appealing against the refusal of naturalisation based upon excessive absences outside the UK despite the applicant having made the UK his main home for over 20 years
- Maintaining a 100% success rate in Tier 1 General and UKBA sponsor licence applications
Interests
Julie is married and lives in Orpington, Kent. Her interests include theatre productions, especially musicals. Julie also enjoys cooking and travelling. Her most memorable experience to date includes holding a 9 month old panda during a trip to China.
