Magrath LLP hires three new partners

Leading corporate immigration, employment and media law firm Magrath LLP has strengthened its dispute resolution, property and corporate teams with the appointment of three new partners.

Property partner Stanley Beckett joined from Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons where he was head of the retail team; Litigation partner Jeremy Hershkorn joined the firm from Portner and Jaskel where he was head of commercial litigation; and Corporate partner David Little joined from niche practice Cannings Cannolly.

Chris Magrath, senior partner commenting on the appointment said: “All three have terrific track records and are widely respected in their fields. We look forward to working with them all and to the contribution they will bring to their practice areas”.

Stanley Beckett is a widely respected property lawyer with acknowledged expertise in the retail sector. His clients at Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons included Bon Marché, Speedy Hire plc, Ladbrokes plc and Blue Cross.

Jeremy Hershkorn is a highly experienced litigator with extensive experience in all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution. David Little is a widely respected corporate lawyer advising on a wide range of corporate matters. His clients include the University of the Arts, London; The Chartered Insurance Institute and Margolis Technology Limited. In addition to working in private practice, David has also spent time working in industry and has served as a non-executive director, legal counsel and company secretary for an AIM listed company.

All three partners joined Magrath LLP in the last two weeks of April 2007.
