Home Office launches super priority service in India

As promised by the Prime Minister, during his recent trip to India, the Home Office has introduced a super priority, same day service for customers in India.

From 15th May 2013, those in Delhi and Mumbai applying for either a 6 month or 2 year multiple entry visitor visa will be able to take advantage of the service. To obtain a visa on the same day as their appointment, customers will be required to attend an appointment at the Visa Application Centres in Delhi and Mumbai between 08:00 – 09:30 Monday to Friday. Plans have also been made to roll the service out to Chennai in the near future.

The British High Commissioner to India, Sir James Bevan, stated that the super priority service, which is being launched in India before any other country, will enable businesses and entrepreneurs to take advantage of opportunities arising at short notice, and assist the burgeoning trade relationship between India and the UK.
