Best disciplinary sanction of 2011…. the naughty step?

Someone suggested that HRspy should run a top 10 of the ‘best’ disciplinary sanctions (although the person in question said ‘best punishments’ and by which I assume they meant most outrageous rather than ‘best’). Now, it’s not the easiest list – because it’s a question of degree, applicable circumstances, crime, punishment fitting etc….. The full list will be available by the end of the week, but so far the personal favourite has to be the application of a punishment suitable for an errant 2 year old – yes, I kid you not (no pun intended) a small independent furniture retailer in the south of England applied the naughty step when their junior salesman was late for the second time in one week!
